TaleCraft AI ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our TaleCraft AI mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect

• Story Customization Data: Includes reader's age, gender, character name, character trait, companion name, story premise, mood, story length, and chosen language. This data helps generate stories and may be stored to improve the App.
• Generated Stories: Stored to provide access to your story history and enable additional features. Users can choose to make their stories public, displaying them on the Public Stories page.
• Device Information: We collect data such as device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers to analyze app performance and usage.
• Google Account Data: If signing in with Google, we collect your Google ID, name, surname, email, and profile photo for personalization and account management.
• Emails You Referred: If you invite friends to use TaleCraft AI, their emails are stored to link them to you for referral credit purposes.
• Advertising Data: Our advertising partner, Appodeal, and its associated ad networks may collect certain data when their SDK initializes within the App and when you interact with advertisements. This is done to manage your advertising preferences, request and display ads, measure their effectiveness, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. This data may include:
  • Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID like GAID on Android or IDFA on iOS).
  • IP address.
  • Approximate location (derived from IP address).
  • Technical device information (e.g., device model, operating system version, user-agent, screen size, language settings).
  • Network information (e.g., carrier, connection type).
  • Information about ads served, viewed, or clicked on.
  • Diagnostic data related to ad performance and SDK functionality.
  • Consent information related to your advertising choices.

How We Use Your Information

• Generate Stories.
• Improve App Performance and personalize your experience.
• Provide Customer Support.
• Communicate about new features, updates, and other relevant information (if opted in).
• Display public stories on the Public Stories page if the user has enabled public visibility.
• Serve Rewarded Advertisements and Manage Advertising Preferences: The data collected by our advertising partner Appodeal is used to manage your consent choices for advertising, to request and provide you with rewarded video ads (if you choose to watch them), which allow you to earn in-app benefits. This includes personalizing ads shown to you (based on your consent), measuring ad performance, and preventing fraud.

How We Share Your Information

• Service Providers: We share data with trusted partners for analytics, storage, and other essential services.
• Advertising Partners: To manage advertising preferences and provide rewarded advertisements, we use Appodeal as our advertising mediation partner. When the Appodeal SDK initializes and when ads are served, Appodeal and its network of ad providers may collect and process your data as described in the "Advertising Data" section above. • Legal Authorities: We disclose information when required by law.
• Public Stories: If users enable public visibility, their stories will be accessible to all users via the Public Stories page.

User Control Over Public Stories

Users can toggle the public visibility of their stories at any time:

• On the single story screen, at the bottom of the story.
• On the My Stories page, where each story card has a toggle to make it public or private.

Children's Privacy

TaleCraft AI is designed for families and children. No information is linked to your child in any way. If you believe we have inadvertently collected a child's personal data, contact us for removal.

Advertising and Consent

We partner with Appodeal to serve rewarded video advertisements in our App and to manage user consent for advertising purposes. When you first open the App, and periodically thereafter, you may be presented with a consent management screen by Appodeal. This screen allows you to make choices about how your data is used by Appodeal and its third-party advertising partners for purposes such as personalized advertising, ad measurement, and more. These choices are stored and respected by the SDK.

Even if you do not immediately watch an ad, the Appodeal SDK may process certain data upon initialization to facilitate the consent management process and prepare ad services according to your preferences. When you choose to view a rewarded ad, Appodeal and their partners may collect and use information about your device and ad interactions to provide personalized ads (if consented) and measure their effectiveness. This data processing is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the collected information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
